ANZ Future Captain competition terms and conditions
OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Competition dates
The ANZ Future Captain competition starts at 12pm on Wednesday 4 June 2025 and ends at 12pm on Sunday 8 June 2025.
The Prize
The ANZ Future Captains Promotion consists of 6 individual prize experiences – One for each team (each a “Prize Experience”). Each Prize Experience will include:
- Four tickets to the allocated ANZ Premiership netball game to be used by the Nominee, the Nominee’s friend and two accompanying adults,
- The chance to meet the team captains before the game starts,
- The opportunity to welcome the team players on court before the game starts, and
- Two ANZ Future Captain hoodies for the Nominee and the Nominee’s friend to wear at the game
Prize winners will need to make their own way to the game. No travel or accommodation will be provided as part of the Prize Experience.
The allocated ANZ Premiership netball games are:
- Magic v Mystics 21 June
- Tactix v Stars 22 June
- Pulse v Steel 23 June
- Steel v Magic 28 June
- Stars v Mystics 30 June
- Mystics v Steel 6 July
How to enter
Comment the name of who you want to nominate and why between 12pm on Wednesday 4 June 2025 and 12pm on Sunday 8 June 2025 on one of the 6 ANZ Premiership teams’ competition posts on either Facebook or Instagram. The specific competition posts will be live by 12pm on Wednesday 4 June.
The teams are:
- Northern Mystics
- Northern Stars
- Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic
- Central Pulse
- Mainland Tactix
- Southern Steel
Entries will be invalid if they:
- Cannot be read or understood
- Are incomplete
- Break any intellectual property rights or are plagiarised
- Are discriminatory in any way, including racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic or any other content we consider offensive.
- Do not comply with these terms and conditions
- An entry is received at the time it appears on Facebook/Instagram, not at the time you send or post it.
- Nominate a person who does not meet the eligibility requirements below
By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
Any New Zealand resident who is over 18 years old and who is a parent, guardian, relative or close family friend (the “Entrant”) may nominate a child aged between 8 and 12 years old to have a chance at winning an ANZ Future Captains Prize Experience (the “Nominee”).
The prize draw
The prize draw will take place on Monday 9 June 2025 and each of the six ANZ Premiership teams will conduct the prize draw on ANZ’s behalf for each of the prizes.
If your entry is the first entry drawn for each team that meet these terms and conditions, and you can be contacted, you will win the prize.
The team will contact the potential winner by direct message on Facebook or Instagram within 24 hours of the prize draw. If the potential winner cannot be reached or does not contact ANZ within 48 hours of the team’s attempt to contact them, they will forfeit the prize and another entry will be drawn.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable, we may swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice.
The ANZ Premiership teams’ decision is final.
Privacy
Each of the six ANZ Premiership teams are a third party associated with this promotion. The information you provide to enter this competition will be collected by them. This allows them to manage the prize draw and contact the winner. They will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with their privacy statement.

ANZ will hold and use the winner’s information for the purposes of delivering the prize in line with our privacy statement.
You have the right to check and correct any information you provide to enter this competition.
Liability exclusions: When we are not legally responsible
We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.
If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable.
For goods or services manufactured by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.
Other conditions
We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
